This hard-shell gourd is colored in rich brown and blended red dyes, softly gilded with copper waxes and protected with a hand waxed finish coat. The stem forms the handle of the lid and a cluster of natural pods, jacaranda, lotus, curli, and cedar. A flourish of abaca cloth completes the cluster.
