I love painting snow because the paper does most of the work. With just some light shadows and smudges it looks like snow. The trees poking out of the snow are clearly dead and the branches are pointing in all sorts of directions..there are a few bushes as well with some chance to add a little gold. With the lake in the background and greys and blues make this a unique loose painting. You can almost feel the cold air blowing theough the fields behind the trees.
