Beltane, also known as Mayday, is the annual celebration of the return of the Sun God. Deriving from the Celtic language, “Beltane” translates to the Fires of Bel; in honor of the Celtic Sun God Belenus. It marks the cyclical beginning to Earth’s annual rebirth and falls between the Spring Equinox and Summer Solstice; celebrated on the first of May. Hence, the moniker of “Mayday.”

Spring is a gentle reminder to allow what lifts you up to carry the load of day-to-day life & allows your soul to be fuller and less drained due to neglect. Take the time to really stop, breathe, set your intention for the moment, hour, day, week, etc., and step forward knowing you have all you need to remain attached to that intention and manifest the reality (on all iterations) you choose.

This artwork is a rework of a piece from last year that was an artistic representation of Autumn and the end of nature’s lifecycle. It felt right to resurrect her, feed her roots, and bring her back to life.
