The image of the Eagle for the bolo tie is done in scrimshaw on a 38mm polished, round corian cabochon. Corian is an ivory alternative material. I hand etched the Eagle and it is colored with permanent black, water resistant ink. To preserve and seal the image, I applied archival wax. The cabochon is set in a handcrafted, walnut bezel and has a tension back. The Eagle Head Bolo Tie has a black, leather cord which is 36 inches long and 1 1/2 inch tips. The bolo tie comes in a jewelry gift box.
