Brain Injured Art by Thomas D.Woodswww.ArtPal.com/braininjuredart
I'm a self-taught, disabled artist using art as an expression of my experiences and life. My art is an expression of living with a brain injury. When I was 21, I was in a car accident that left me with traumatic injuries and a forty day coma. I was right-handed and ended up with a permanent, major tremor in my right arm.
I have learned to create art with my left hand as well as my right despite the tremors. A unique style evolved that is influenced by the results of the accident. My brain injury,my tremor,my experience--they combine to form my art.
