A close view of the full stream, surrounded by new mid-level grasses. They aren't the baby greens of April nor the high yellowing grasses of summer, just a sample of lush healthy life. A spit of sand in the upper left quadrant of the picture, protruding into the stream, gives one a bit of footing when wading. I like to think of it as a micro-beach.
