Blending images of my two homes - Cork and Como.

When I close my eyes and find my inner child, playing in their happy place, the setting is usually a combination of Cork City, Ireland and Lago di Como, Italy.

Despite the juxtaposition of geography, culture and climate, the warm and humorous nature of Northern Italy blends beautifully with that of the Corkonians. Likewise, the Corkonian architectural landscape, through all of its trials and tribulations, is heavily influenced by the villas, townhouses and religious structures of Italia. Indeed, of a warm and humid summer's evening, one could be forgiven for confusing the two.
