I believe I have always been an artist. I remember when I sat on the floor under my mother's sewing machine gathering colored thread that fell to the floor as she clipped them. I can see in my mind's eye my leg that I'd formed tiny people on with the small pieces of beautiful thread I'd gathered. My fabric pants were enough to hold the tiny shapes together but as I got up some would fall off. This intrigued me so much that I took a book and copied the people I saw. A very funny thing happened in grade school. The teacher told me that the green legs on the girl that I'd drawn were not correct. If she could see me today. I have been to art school many years as I got my degree in art which were three letters: BFA. This meant that along with the degree for art I also studied more Art History. I can paint images of anything I want. I love doing portraits. I love doing animals mostly cats. The picture you see here is me holding a little cat and you can see in the background a painting of cats I did to help out a place that saved cats. I believe painting makes people happy and I love to do paintings for people and not charge them anything. I have donated lots of paintings to places like the Ann Arbor Cat Clinic. They are always so happy. I have done many pieces of cats as I love them. I hope you find something you like in my gallery. Take care my friend. Thank you so much for looking at my art.
