Aspen Black Equine Art

Aspen Black is a horse trainer, riding instructor, and award-winning competitor in multiple disciplines. She has published a manual for recreational riders entitled, Empowered Riding: The Guide for Recreational Horseback Riders. Her artwork has placed in competitions and has been featured in hangings at her local library and other venues. She is also a singer-songwriter and cowgirl poet. Her CD of original western/cowgirl style music won the 2015 Rural Roots Music Commission's CD of the Year in 2015 and her poetry CD, Invisibility, finished in the the top-five in 2015 for Western Music Association Poetry CD of the Year, and she as ranked as #7 of the most heard poets in 2015 on western radio.
