Linda Kruger Robinson Pastels

As an artist I work primarily in pastels and I also paint in oils. I love the South Jersey landscape and colors; there is a scene to paint wherever you look! The colors of the landscape compel me to create a moment that I experience in nature. Colors that I choose are not necessarily true to and found in the natural world. There is excitement in the prospect of creating light, color, pastel strokes through an arrangement of forms and texture. I derive energy and happiness finding colors that come together to create a composition. I believe in the beauty of landscape of South Jersey and I try to capture the feel, colors and beauty in my paintings. My hope is that my images inspire and stimulate the viewers senses and capture a moment in time!

I have shown my work in Cumberland County at the Riverfront Renaissance Center for the Arts, Gallery 50, Village on High Gallery ,Vineland Library , Ocean City Art League , Virtua Hospital, Palmyra Cove Nature Center, Hammonton Art Center, Galleria at Deptford , Mt. Holly , Ocean City, Cape May Galleries and the surrounding New Jersey area. Solo art shows “Colors of the Landscape” , Ocean City Art Center, Ocean City New Jersey 2018, “Pastel Moments” , Jesse Creek winery Cape May Courthouse New Jersey 2019.
