I was born on a farm at Maple Island in the Parry Sound District Ontario Canada,
This back woods environment exposed me to rugged landscape, farm animals, fauna and flora
of Northern Ontario.
Being sensitive by nature and very observant I developed a desire to graphically record my surroundings at a very young age of five, my family and friends where impressed with my natural ability to draw and compose.
My desire to improve my graphic skills remained with me throughout my school years and I was encouraged to pursue a career in the visual arts.
At age 25 I graduated from Commercial art ICS Scranton Pennsylvania.
For the next five years I worked in the GTA as a commercial artist during that period I enrolled at George Brown College of applied arts and technology to upgrade my portfolio.
after graduating I was offered a position with a large firm as manager of the art department.
That was short lived, I detested commuting and the pressure of the department so I decided to move north and open my own studio and gallery in a small town, even though I have been torn away by entrepreneurial opportunities I have been able to maintain my desire to excel in the fine arts
