The beautiful bell flower, grows for about two years, returning after winter. It has a milky stalk, and bell shaped flowers. It is considered a poison and should not be eaten. I loved painting this because of the flow of the stems through the light. It have me so much joy. But beware. The fairies are said to cast spells on those who pick these.
