Bio
In the center of Arizona, on an old homesteaded dairy, stands a 1949 milk barn. Mary Lue Allen works inside making wheel thrown pottery, glass beads, paintings, drawings and photographs. As a retired Art teacher she has a love for different medias. Art from the heart by Mary Lue may be seen in different forms, but what doesn’t change is the heart she puts into making each piece.
Mary Lue believes in leading with her heart. As one of the things she has taught her own children, “If you follow your heart, you can’t go far wrong.” As you view her artwork, she hopes you can sense a bit of that heart. From the warmth of the clay you may hold in your hands to the calm of a panoramic photo, knowing the piece you see is created for you by one who cared, may help add hope to your day.
