Art Brusky had a truly unbelievable childhood, including--but not limited to--being stolen from his dad when he was six weeks old, being raised in a neighborhood dominated by MS-13, and living with a violent family who would have won an award (if they were given out) for hoarding.
His "adoptive" family (if you could call them that) was not educated and were always down in a defeatist's way. He stayed to himself in his room, blocking out the arguements and fights his family was always in. Many times the ambulance would come to haul away the bleeding and broken woman while he found comfort in Little Debbie's and drawing.
There is a lot more to Art Brusky, but he is not trying to write an autobiography here. He just wants to share his art and make some money.
