Red, orange, yellow and black. My favourite colour combination to work with. The colours of fire. The black enhances the orange and yellow making it look brighter and the red takes it to a different dimension. This painting is open to everyone’s perception, it allows your mind to explore and come up with so many different opinions. To me, it’s a lady full of ambition, full of fire within and the darkness may creep in every now and then; she is still surrounded by things that bring in light and joy. That’s why her body is actually orange mixed with red. Love and happiness intertwined.
