ERIK VESTVILLE was born in Czech Republic, studied aeronautical engineering and painted in time remaining. Moved to Houston Texas in 1975 and along with a stint in aerospace, made reproductions of historical harpsichords and restored wooden sailboats, making art all along. His artwork was well received, lauded, and exhibited mostly in collectors' homes in Houston and Los Angeles, also in Edinburgh Scotland, New York City, and Monaco. Currently he restores antiques and makes original artwork mostly inspired by constructivist and suprematist stylistic tradition, wildly straying afield occasionally.
