Through her paintings Angie expresses her spiritual communication and intuition about life's challenges, joys, fears and pains.
Angie was born and raised in Tobago, the little island of Trinidad and Tobago which is well known for Calypso music, the mystical communication of emotions and thoughts humans naturally resist to express freely. Angie creates her paintings with the emotions and this music as her guide to translate the vibes into colours, textures and streams of light.
Angie's studio is overlooking the shores of the St.Clair River in Sarnia, a small artistic community in southwestern Ontario, Canada. Sarnia is the home of many local artists, the home of the new Judith & Norman Alix Art Gallery and the Lawrence House Centre For The Arts.
