Amoh is from Botswana where she was born and raised. She graduated from Limkokwing university with a Associate degree in Public Relations. In 2014 she moved to central Portugal where she is based at.
she has always been an artist from a young age, always creating things and exploring art in various forms and mediums. Most of her art is self taught.
She was introduced to formal art in high school where she learnt more on paintings on acrylic, pencil water colors, fabric painting and worked with clay. And she did her art on part time until one day she got intrigued by a metal sculpture of an old man and she started researching about working with metals and she started buying equipment and started working on metal sculptures in September 17 2013. The first thing she made was a lizard which she used to watch (as a kid) fighting on the wall and sometimes the lizards will fall on the ground and she will chase it around the house until it got back on the high end wall.
She is inspired by the fact that she lives in an evolving world and the possibilities of what she could make with a creative mind and availability of the advanced technology. "For me, each sculpture I create is the fulfillment of a vision, a special moment, captured in time." Her art is influenced by the stories that happened in her community when she was growing up. Amoh s’ hand crafted art have their own intrinsic value and a funny side as well.
