I paint unique watercolour paintings of wildlife subjects that look interesting and challenging. I am drawn to butterfly wings with all their beautiful iridescent facets, membranous dragonfly wings, satin-like scales of reptiles. I love the plumage and colours of birds and the curious expressions in their eyes. I love to paint furry wild mammals such as squirrels and badgers. I am self-taught and I tend to paint with my feelings and love of my subject. I hope you can see that in my work. I am still mastering watercolour for now but plan to paint more landscapes and pet portraits in other mediums.
