Art at 75+ by Alanwww.ArtPal.com/alanfrank44
Before you go on to view my work I sincerely ask that you Pray to your GOD and ask that this plague, this evil, be taken from us and help heal.
Born in 1944 I an am American artist. I studied architecture at the University of Illinois and in 1965 and later received an Assoc. of Arts in Architecture from Chicago Wright Junior College. While studying I became familiar with architectural presentation drawings, drafting, model making, eventually leading to an interest in art.
Not being able to find work in the Architectual field I found employment in Mechanical Design and over time acquired another Associates Degree in Electro-Mechanics. After many years in that occupation I retired at the age of 65 years.
At the age of 58 I decided to pursue a B.A. and in 2003 received a Bachelors Degree in Liberal Arts from DePaul University, focusing on the commercial side of art. After I retired and decided to focus on my artwork and am inspired by the past and present day activities that occur in present day life.
As I matured and became a senior citizen, I discovered the need to express what I have experienced and witnessed in life. Over the years I have developed a keen interest in acrylics, watercolors and recently started painting with oil.
During the current covid-19 pandemic and lockdown, I found the time and the ‘need’ to develop my artwork. My thoughts, interests, beliefs, and feelings are reflected in artwork. I have a strong faith and believe “God give us all strength to survive and prosper”.
I am grateful to see so many people around the world view my work. Thank you so much for the honor of coming to Artpal and looking.
Please email me at email@example.com and thank you for viewing my work. I live in Rolling Meadows, Illinois, which is a suburb of Chicago.
Sumi-e my way.
