Agata Padol lives and works in Krakow. Much of her work can be seen in Norway, because she creates painting cycles inspired by the country's nature, shoreline, animals living there and, above all, phenomena associated with the polar regions. This specific melancholy characteristic of the "edge of the world" is also transferred by the artist to very colorful paintings, giving them a timeless light that changes how she wants the silhouettes of figures, objects, abstract forms, drawings and scale, regardless of psychophysiological or optical knowledge. The artist represents expressive painting combining abstraction with figuration. He works in acrylic and oil technique and also has monumental paintings on historic vaults, walls, portals and columns. He represents independent painting, not associated with a particular current in art. She is interested in the scale and framing of space, which gives her inspiration for creative penetration, distance to herself and the world as well as an attitude open to new artistic experiences.
