I have always felt that a good picture needs to tell a story. It needs to invite you in and include you in the mood of the work. Wherever I have lived in the world, be it London, Swansea, Barcelona, Manchester, Salamanca, Toledo or Andalusia, I have always tried, to interpret my surroundings in music, writing or art.

Living in Cádiz in Andalucía it is hard not to be constantly fascinated by the world around you. From the vibrant bustling streets of the old town to the open countryside and typical Andalusian towns of the province, inspiration is around almost every corner. From there it is only a small step to picking up a paintbrush and beginning to interpret the world.
