Alan D. Perkins is an artist living in Queens, New York. He spent most of his life as a classical musician and eventually started producing community theater. When the need came to have someone paint sets, Alan rose to the challenge and has been painting sets ever since. He eventually overcame the challenge of painting 16" x 20" canvases as opposed to 8' flats. Alan would paint larger works but the ceiling where he paints is very low.
