Taking lessons, and gathering with other artists have given me the courage to strike out on the journey to become a professional.Studio 3B refers to the three types of projects I use. Brush, Bead, and Bag refers to paintings, artistic hand bags, and sophisticated beaded jewelry.
Water color painting is where you'll find me most often. When I meet to paint with my friends, it becomes my support group. We pray for each other, and they critique my paintings.I focus mainly on nature, from trillium to chickens, and landscapes. My thanks and appreciation goes to my art community. I finally say I have friends.
Out of the darkness into the light. That's how I view my artwork.I fought my way out of decades of profound depression using the gifts with which friends have blessed me. As a child I was raped, physically abused and abandoned. Through talk therapy and pills I have victory over the cloud that dominated my life. On this journey, I realize that most people suffer from the same dark malady on some scope. So I try to speak life. May the words of my mouth and thoughts of my heart be acceptable".
I start my day off right with meditation, eating a balanced meal and taking my medications. This routine sets me up for a day of encouragement. I am more productive, which is the opposite of depression.
