Xolani Msiya known as Snapture was born in Newcastle Madadeni KwaZulu Natal, South Africa he was raised in different places and homes until he was a street kid in a young age luckily he got found and got adobted by Mncube family. Xolani began to draw and dance at the age of 10/11 years old to heal the pain from he's background. In 2005 he started taking dance serious in 2010 managed to win he's first dance competition hosted by Art and Culture, 2012 win Newcastle all styles dance competition, 2013 he won Trace and Nokia dance competition, and started dance classes in Newcastle created a team to bring the youth together and escape to the drugs and bad thins that was happening in he's community, 2015 he participated in Amajuba District Leadership camp he won Gold medal for leadership skills and won another gold medal in Provincial and National camp for excellent leadership skills, He joint IFMA modelling agency traveled high schools inspiring and motivating youth and became Deputy chairperson because of he's hard work and he left the agency to start he's own campany called Spray My Shandis. In 2016 Xolani and he's company won Sprite More Refreshing than umswenko and Sprite shared Xolani's short story on their social pages. 2017 Xolani he's has been on several TV shows he was called as special guest for Street Culture on Daily Thetha SABC1, Xolani and he's crew called iDance Crew competed at BREAK DA BEAT SABC1 TV dance competition. Got booked in clubs like The Booth, The Sands Sandton, Urban Lounge etc. Xolani have been traveling around South Africa and it universities customizing students old items and performing in big events like BTTC, Soweto Spring festival, Umshubelo fest, Newcastle summer fest etc. Shared a stage with artists like AKA , Casper Nyovest, NastyC, Ricky Rick etc. Xolani has customised / recycled more than 2000 old sneakers for people since 2015 , he has sold several Artworks in 2019 and now he's working with different artists for more artworks.
Xolani seeks to empower, uplift and deal with all youth and social challenges such as; unemployment, negative attitudes, drug abuse, peer pressure, teenage pregnancy, school drop-outs, cultural and racial differences.achieve this by building relationships among different people despite our upbringing or beliefs and he is working to get the youth out of their comfort zones by inspiring them.
He's main objective is to work in collaboration with other organisations that deal mainly with health transformation, education, arts and youth development. He intend to partner with Educational Institutions, Private Sectors, Stakeholders, Foundations With these partnerships he believe that he can able to conquer he'sgoal.
