I have always been curious about colors and design and the ways they affect our being and state of mind. In January 2017, I began painting abstract acrylics, in part, to help deal with a series of personal losses. I found God’s healing, light and inspiration in the beauty and patterns of nature. It was both exciting and humbling to start to see my emotions take shape on canvas.

When I am not painting, I spend time with my family, experiment in the kitchen, read good books, and help students at the University of Washington Bothell find their future paths.

I hope my images can also bring healing, light and inspiration to anyone who sees them.
