I have always loved colors and designs and have enjoyed playing with them, trying different mediums. In 2016, I discovered painting with acrylics as a vehicle to help me process the pain I was experiencing as a result of losing several close friends in a short time frame. And in the depths of that pain, I found joy and hope. In this world we live in a veil of tears, where there is darkness and pain, and we lose the presence of those we love to death. However, as a Christian, I have hope in Christ and the world to come. I know that this world we live in is temporary and that we will one day leave it and live eternally in a better place. I hope that the paintings I create will bring light to the darkness and hope and encouragement to those who need it.
