Description

People in once a free city are prohibited from rallying, protest, and even paying tribute to people they remember.
In view of this irony, I made this painting so that our tribute to the people can be made at anytime and anywhere we want. This is our freedom. And we won’t ever forget it.
This painting is a bit special among my other paintings because the flowers are made of collage of newspaper cuttings about what happened down in the Mass transit that day.

I picked up my paintbrushes again after triggered by some beautiful movements in 2019.

To me, an artwork seems help freeze a moment in your life for you to slowly appreciate its beauty, to develop a relation, an affection with what is surrounding you; to understand what is important to you.
