Howdy from Montana! I'm Fran. Thank you for visiting my gallery.
I've been doodling since I could hold a crayon. It really took off as a teenager when I bought my first woodburning kit. I taught myself how to do the "photo realism" technique of pyrography. Over the years, I've enjoyed burning custom portraits of family, pets, and memories. Recently, I've explored the same technique on leather with great success. Having recently retired, I have been dabbling in graphite drawing...and loving it! I hope you do, too! Preview them in the Graphite Drawings collection.
NOTE: the watermarks on all images are to prevent unauthorized use. The art you purchase will NOT have a watermark.
Now you can buy my originals, or professional fine art reproductions of my graphite drawings. The original drawings are scanned at high settings to capture the full detail. Giclee archival gallery grade prints are then generated on German Hannemule Texture 300, known to last 75-100 years.
There are two pyrography collections to view: one on leather, the other on wood. I hope you will enjoy these as much as I enjoyed creating the originals. Both pyrography collections have originals you can purchase.
Please check back for new additions to the portfolio. As it grows, watch for opportunities to purchase originals, reproductions, or custom orders from your photographs.
A new collection of commission work has been added. It showcases recent custom drawings using graphite and colored oil pencils. I use the same photo realism technique for pyrography and graphite drawings.
