“Art is about being unapologetic,” has always been my stance. As a Filipinx Queer NYC-based Artist, it’s about balance and speaking your variety of truths. It can be messy, it can be simplistic, but it’s of your own ownership.

I am heavily inspired by Seurat, Basquiat, the vivid colors of Yayoi Kusama, and other abstract artists. The Buddhist tradition speaks to me and the peace it contains in the midst of chaos. My own queerness also informs me of what to express without holding back.
