My name is Pamela Jarvis and I am 22 years old and I have BPD. I like to call myself a survivor of depression with BPD. In october 2019 I fell in deep depression, it was the hardest battle of my life. After a month into treatment, painting fell in my life. Painting is my stress reliever, painting brings me smiles and i want to share these’s smiles with you. My paintings are based on my life events. Every painting I create holds a story about me or someone in my life. These stories can be positive or negative, this is what give all my painting a unique style. My inspiration to do these paintings was the fact I had to battle myself. So i thought by painting things that happened to me would help (btw it totally does!). All my paintings are done with acrylic paint. All my paintings comes with with their event story on why this painting was created. My art represents my battle. It will always remind me to stay positive, to want to live, to make goals, to stay strong, to keep smiling and never be afraid to shine.
