My name is Olga Cabaret and I create paintings with a variety of extraordinary things that you would never expect to see on canvas. Some of my favorite elements include Swarovski crystals (picked by me personally in Austria), eyelashes for portraits, chameleon paints, real wheat —like in the painting called “Soil”— and many more.
I enjoy experimenting with textures and materials and I keep coming up with new bright ideas, either it’s a sculpture on canvas or a transparent double-sided piece of art. Practicing such techniques as glitter and shimmer in combination with my own author’s techniques makes every work completely extraordinary, unique and like no other
I sincerely believe that I wouldn’t have been the artist you see today without the unique childhood I had and without my parents who’ve showed me my way and opened the doors to the world of art. They have taught me how to be open to the world and perceive everything without bias.
I took my first steps when I went to the 5-year classic Russian art school to study design, drawing, painting, sculpture, and fine art history and when I went for an internship to Italy. However, only in 2015 did I decide to dedicate my time to art fully.
Being an artist makes me truly happy as it allows me to be with my two sweet and truly talented daughters. Also, being able to share positive emotions with those people who now own my artworks is a reward and inspiration for me to create more. This feeling of connection with people is simply amazing!
