Lisa has been painting and creating art for over 30 years. Growing up in a creative family with a father who was a potter and a mother who prepared the glazes and did spinning and weaving. She has taught art all over Victoria and exhibited at local Rotary Art shows. With a group of artists, Lisa exhibited and helped to organise the ‘Six-ten’ exhibition held in Hamilton. Lisa has recently opened The Gables Art Studio in Hamilton for art and craft classes, sharing her joy for creativity and personal development. Lisa’s students are invited to experience different techniques and mediums and she believes everyone who comes to her classes will create something of beauty. She has recently travelled to Europe to paint with watercolour artist Alvaro Castagnet and has arrived home inspired with fresh new ideas to explore. She attends local markets with her daughter who sells her hand painted scarves under the label frankiebella and sells her products via the internet, Facebook and in art galleries.
