Born close to Quebec city, Liluushka's childhood was collided the Inuit culture, her father working in the great north of Quebec. The influence of raw and untamed cultures gestating in her blood, watered her desire to travel to native lands and to paint there..Her 20's were haunted by the extreme prestine wildness of Vancouver Island and its Natives, and her brush strokes untamed by the wild winds and her edgy survival adventures there.
The Call of an equaly potent culture pulled her destiny to land in Hawaii, and there, she fused her canvases to the rich fauve erupting colours of the Aina.
Maui was an excuse to dive deep within her soul and to harvest many aspects of her being to reveal later in her creations. A safe and comforting Island with deep land connected emotional spiritual people. The Hawaiiens reversed her imprints, by their natural ways, likewhat it is to be a woman, how important it is to express emotional truths, how to really allow life to be for living and not working and much wisdom exuding in her work after 2O years of aplying them and engaging in a deep journey of self exploration where Painting is also an exuse to melt with Life and therefore unavoidable multi dimentional play and profound ongoing self transformation.
Now living in Quebec is a completion of a big cycle. Her work will tell the tales where words finds the dead end...
