Artists use skills and tools, knowledge and creativity to share in artform objects of expression. In the age of computer aided tools, such expressions continue to flourish using new mediums.
Form and colour are inherent aspects of objects which Industrial Designers must be familiar with and develop approaches to. I designed and built a CNC router to practically make complex furniture parts. The capability for creating sculptures, a combination of imagination, CAD, CAM, machine and craftsmanship lead to the sculptures I have to offer.
Each is a limited edition, 1/7 would indicate the first edition of no more than 7 editions/variants. All edition vary, as they are made from unique pieces of wood for which size depth and cutter adjustments might be implemented.
A different size and/or a specific wood can be requested, but 3 weeks should be expected to create the work. My work studio is semi-outdoor so this applies seasonally from April through October.
Cultural Declaration:I am the descendant of French settlers born in Canada in the late 1600's. I attended French catholic schools in Ontario, transitioning and assimilating to English in high school. I make no purity of lineage claims.
