I'm a southern California native. I've been drawing pictures since before kindergarten. My parents ran a gas station, so I spent many hours doodling with the tools of that trade - ball-point pens and paper towels from the bathrooms. Dinosaurs were a favorite subject, along with whatever story lines I'd follow on T.V. I eventually picked up painting skills in high school and college. I became intrigued with Neo-classic art while at university, and just the overall process of looking at and interpreting deeper meaning within every artwork. With an MA degree in drawing and painting, I moved to Los Angeles. I've been involved in painting scenic art for the entertainment industry for over twenty years. I've had the marvelous opportunity to traverse different parts of the world. That has helped to further engage my continuing curiosity of our social landscape.
