Kae Cheatham has been a research analyst, sports magazine editor, movie extra, program director for at-risk children, rodeo photographer, USSF soccer coach, and a choir director. She has also authored twelve published books, and for more than a decade, was a speaker with Humanities Montana. In her “retirement” she has expanded her interest in all visual arts.

Kae has designed web sites and has developed print and eBooks, including covers, for authors throughout the country. Her photos have been used in many publications, including American Cowboy, Bloodlines, Orion Magazine, Pro Rodeo World (along with her articles), and Royal Wings (an international in-flight magazine); some have been included as illustrations in books.

Her art background began in classes in O.S.U.'s School of Architecture & Design; art classes (acrylic and watercolor) at Columbus (Ohio) School of Art;, and studying and reading about all forms of art and photography. Her knowledge of computers and software programs aid her creativity.
