I am more interested in capturing the spirit behind the form than I am with the technicalities that copy the outer expression of life as it is on earth today. If I percieve the sea as liquid diamonds, saphires and emeralds I would rather paint it that way! It isn't easy to convey the feeling of having my breath taken away by a heron in flight but to this end I work and use whatever medium I feel will most completely fulfill this intent. Art is a learning journey in which one will never be able to say, "I have arrived!" I celebrate artists and art lovers alike for their support and encouragement to our continued dedication to the arts!
