John Strong Arts
www.ArtPal.com/JSAI first started in photography back in the early 70s - I bought my first SLR, an Olympus OM-1, took some courses and built a darkroom in my basement. That's about all the history I'll bore you with, other than to say life got in the way and I wasn't able to be serious about my photography until 2006 when I bought a Nikon D80 DSLR.
My images are all about seeing. Seeing the beauty of the mundane, the wrecked, the deserted things that surround us. Black and white seems ideal for this type of photography, and adding a touch of special effects, such as glow, but leaving parts clear, is my preferred method of photography post processing.
