It is in this gallery that you will find the many environmental art pieces, paintings, wood-crafted items, cut tile art, carved abalone upcycled creations, island art, plus many more pieces that we have completed within the past few years of our artistry careers.

I was very fortunate to have been born as a native to an island that is settled 26 miles off the coast of Los Angeles Port.
I was born and raised on beautiful Santa Catalina Island and my partner, Mickey Mann has family roots that tie him to the island as well.

It is our surroundings of such a wondrous place where we reside and live our daily lives that brings us much of our inspiration for our art pieces which we refer to as "Island Art."

When materials are accessible, I like to create upcycled art. Transforming something of no use to anyone and turning it into a new and better quality item that someone falls in love with. It can be very enlightening, especially when lookers see what that item used to be.

In more recent years, I have taken a liking to work with wood. Mastering the use of power tools and specialty hand tools that aids me in what I use to create special wooden holiday home and yard or garden decorations, home and yard signs, beach and ocean wood art for outdoor or indoor display, 3D custom wood name signs (Mickey's specialty), small handcrafted wood pallet furniture, wine racks, spice racks, shadow boxes and much more. We are always coming up with new ideas to add to our gallery collection.

My partner Mickey Mann is a framer by trade and has a specialty in 3D wood signs, wood pallet wine, and spice racks along with wood shelves and shadow boxes.
We custom build miniature landmarks of the island such as I make a casino birdhouse and Mickey makes the steamer.

Mickey and I work as a team but create our art pieces from scratch individually.

There are several ways that you can see and or purchase our art.
We attend our local art shows with an open booth and we will continue to sell at the local Catalina Island Art Shows, Christmas Craft Boutique, and the new Crafters Corner Shop. Some of the local shops on the main street may carry a unique art piece.

There is also the buy/sell group on Facebook, Catalinas Treasure Chest, and looking to expand to other/sell platforms.

We are always seeking out new methods and learning new skills.
