I'm a 55 year old woman who started drawing when I was very young. As long as I can remember, I had a drawing pad. I would sit in my room with my clock radio, drawing in my imaginary world. I did this all through high school. I remember the teachers would walk slowly up to my desk and move my book to see what it was I worked so intently on. Ours eyes would lock, teacher shaking her head in the No motion, with a scowl on her face, pointing at the book gesturing for me to read ,not draw.
I've always loved all types of art, it just seems as I got older and worked. I never made the time for it anymore. I wish now I would of. I did work my way in the world as a Chef, a different kind of art, and it's also a great passion of mine.
I've recently become Physically unable to work doing my art as a Chef, except at home. or private party's. I have a lot of time on my hands and have been blessed to be able spend time drawing again. I've been learning to try things with painting and pastels, which I've never done before. I do really love what comes out. Sometimes not so much, but if at first you don't succeed try try again, and again. Its might not be the best but its done with my Heart. Isn't that what arts really about ! I enjoy sharing it. So thank you for taking the time to look. I hope you get some enjoyment from it.
