Emma Haigh-Hutchinson

Emma Haigh-Hutchinson

As a 17 year-old abstract artist, Emma's work is categorized by strong use of color, thick brush strokes, alongside a lack of reality. She works in acrylics on canvas, and takes inspiration from the works of Joan Mitchell and Franz Klein. Currently, Emma is working on several new pieces which should be available shortly. In addition, Emma enjoys photography and writing, when she isn't studying.

Emma was raised in Texas, where she lived with her mother, younger sister, and father. However, her life changed drastically in 2008 with the death of her father. Since then, she has used the arts to express emotion and represent the sometimes foggy lens through which she sees the world.
