The hard part is to look past the distraction of the ordinary to capture its unique self. Some of my pieces are quite detailed, others less so. My goal is to inspire those who see my work to look more carefully at the world around them, to discover beauty in unusual places. To alter them in a way that questions their attitudes, fears and unwritten rules which have formed that environment and our behavior within it. The mediums I use are ink, pencil and occasionally water color markers.
