"I paint fantasy from my imagination, as well as real life portraits of humans and animals. I enjoy lots of colour, patterns, fresh air, jungles and getting lost in stories." - Eilidh Morris
In her final years at secondary school in 2006-2007, Eilidh was introduced to painting, specifically portraiture painting, and from this point on she has never stopped creating. Due to the supportive nature of those around her, she gained a grade A in both Higher & Advanced Higher Art, and also explored ceramics, print-making, filmmaking and photography in these early years.
In 2007, Eilidh Morris was invited to exhibit as part of the SQA Exhibition in the National Gallery of Scotland (in Edinburgh), in commendation of her portraiture work and academic acheivement.
Eilidh Morris attended the University of Dundee from 2008-2012, studying Time-based Art & Digital Film. In 2012, Eilidh exhibited with fellow graduates at the University of Dundee, in the highly popular annual Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design Degree show, during which she displayed explorations of mental illness in a installation accompanied with written and video pieces.
Eilidh currently shares her art through online networks and is enthusiastic to connect to the right audience. She welcomes enquiries into commissions, gallery opportunities and furhter information about her artwork.
