I'm an artist since childhood. I graduated with a Master of Fine Arts from Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) in 1995. I paint, draw, and create digital artwork. Lately, I have been taking pictures of myself and manipulating the self-portraits in the computer. The digital filtering, special effects, and so forth are made possible by using several apps and softwares in my Mac laptop and iPad or iPhone. Many of those self-portraits portray myself as a person who is gay. There are rainbows that can be noticeable in many of the portraits. There are also some portraits that do not reflect LGBTQ issues at all. I also took pictures of LED lights. I have always loved lights since my childhood days. I manipulated the images of LED lights by increasing their vibrancy, glow, brilliance, saturation, and distorting, filtering them, and so forth to make them become more ethereal and beautiful. Those LED lights digital photos reflect my fascination of their futuristic science fiction-like qualities or appearances and their magic with their abilities to light up by electric power in buildings, rooms, outside, and where ever else they were.
