I work with many mediums including wood, paper, acrylic and oil. My subject is usually representational. I have a love of people and how life’s events and inheritance contribute to our molding.
My hearts desire is to share this love with you. It is ultimately inspired by my love of God who enhances appreciation and love.
In my preparation, I graduated from Cuesta College in San Luis Obispo with a degree in Art and obtained a Standard Designated Teaching Credential in Art. I have other extensive art studies, including studies at La Romita School of Art in Terni, Italy in 2018.
I realize that entering competitions, displaying work, participating in Art in Communities programs, are always to get established. I have shown my work, for example, from the span of 2015 to 2019 in over 50 competitions, often winning ribbons, including three Best of Show Awards.
My affiliations include: Sacramento Fine Art Center, Northern California Arts, Blue Line Arts in Roseville, CA, Alliance of Women Artists and National Oil and Acrylic Painters Society of America. I have served on the Board of Directors for Northern California Arts for three years, acting as President of that board in 2017. I am thrilled to say that I have obtained the highest level of certification, Master Artist, in 2017 with Northern California Arts.
