I was born in the coastal town of Colonia del Sacramento, in Uruguay, where life is a beach and days are full of fun. I studied architecture at Colonia Preparatory School of Architecture, and art with well-known Uruguayan artists, taking part in several group exhibitions. I obtained a Diploma in Artistic Drawing from the Latin American Schools in Buenos Aires and a Diploma in Drawing and Painting from McCann’s Art School in Uruguay. Being very young and looking for an adventure in 1973 my husband and I decided to move to Australia for a couple of years. Since then we have traveled extensively all over the world, but Sydney has been our home. My paintings are inspired by the places I have visited in my extensive travels, both overseas and across this amazing country.
