I have been taking photos since I was 7 years old. I purchased my first camera with S&H Green stamps! It was a Kodak Instamatic that I used everywhere I went. My father taking note, when I was 11 years old, purchased a 35mm Pratika from a yard sale to see how serious I was. I used it until it died. I still have that camera, but it sits in the curio cabinet these days. By age of 14, he bought me a Canon AE-1, which was later upgraded to a Bronica Sqa. Now, completely digital with Canon T3i and MotoZ with Hasselblad lens mod.
During the 1980's I was doing studio work of local bands. Big Hair Bands mostly! Although fun and challenging, I find taking photographs that don't require giant cans of Aquanet more rewarding. From that point on, I have been taking photos, for the most part of landscapes, still life and nature.
Macro photography, landscapes, nature and still life are my preference and sometimes with an abstract point of view.
