Isabelle Ri (b. 1980, Singapore) is an Artist and an Art Instructor. She runs an oil paint based drawing and installation practice, her works respond to aesthetic traditions and techniques. Throughout her life, she has always been fascinated by images and how the world is represented through the eyes of others. Her interest in arts was cultivated during her teenage years and further developed when she opted to take her Bachelor’s Degree follow by Master’s Degree in Fine Arts in San Francisco. After completing her degree, she started her own art studio in Singapore. She created an art syllabus which includes production skills, structure of art and art history. Students are taught how to practice and foster perception, imagination, memory and creativity. She believes skills are developed through practice. After many years in art education, she started traveling around the world mainly to the third world countries such as Vietnam, Laos, Indonesia, India and Cambodia, looking to continue her teaching to the underprivileged children. She is currently a full-time teacher, the founder of Art Lesson by Isabelle. She lives and works in Cambodia now.
