I have grown up, lived, loved, married, raised children, and now have grandchildren all while living in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. I have spent my life growing in appreciation of the beauty she offers from ocean shores to mountain plateaus and everything in between. I am a self-taught artist working primarily in watercolor, who is inspired by the beauty around me. I can never truly capture the beauty I see, but the challenge and journey of capturing it help me enjoy it all the more. My hope is that journey and love come through in my art and may be transferred to you in some small way. I am a science educator by degree, training, and profession who has always loved all ways of knowing, understanding, and expression.
