This art was created as part of the KISS Solo Album blitz. At the dawn of 1968, Kiss was the most popular band in America. The band’s intoxicating combination of kabuki rock bombast pyrotechnics with the marketing genius of band manager Bill Aucoin had paid off. Many critics thought the four albums — all released on the same day — were the beginning of the end for Kiss. But the albums sold well despite some embarrassing tracks along the way.
